Website Email Notifications
If you’re seeing leads come up in your Ninja Forms submission section, but you’re not receiving emails notifying you of them, there could be several reasons behind it.
1. Check Your Spam Folder
First and foremost, check your spam folder to see if they’ve been going there. In most cases this is the issue. Mark the emails as safe and you’ll start getting notifications of your leads.
2. Contact Your Email Provider
Some email providers filter out certain types of email. If you’re still not getting them through, reach out to them to see if they’re filtering your messages.
3. Contact Your Hosting Provider
You will also need to check with your hosting provider to see if your email server is set up correctly to receive such emails. If not, they can do it for you or you can do it manually using a plugin.
4. Use a Plugin to Manually Fix the Issue
If you’re still experiencing difficulties, you can install a plug in to try and resolve the issue. We recommend using
WP Mail SMTP.
To install the plugin, head over to your
WordPress Dashboard and go to
Plugins >
Add New.
On the right-hand side, you will see a search bar. Search for
WP Mail SMTP.
Then click on Install.

Once the plugin is installed, the install button will turn blue and say Activate. Click on it to do so.

Once the plugin is installed to configure the settings go to WP Mail SMTP > Settings in your WordPress Dashboard.
You will see a notification at the top prompting configuration.
Click on the hyperlink.

Next, select your email provider from the options listed and click on the link provided to the documentation to assist you with configuration.

Once you have set things up. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save Changes.

Then get a friend to test the form by having them input their details. Your email should ping when they submit.
